Agnia Lauren was born in Siberia. She comes from a family of artists. In 1991 the family moved to Tallinn, Estonia, where Agnia first studied painting at the State Art School and then painting and monumental painting at the Estonian Academy of Arts. In 2005 she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Agnia masters a wide range of different painting styles, starting with realism, continuing through impressionistic representation to striking abstraction. Currently she is mainly concerned with large-format figurative compositions.
